Ochem Book Change...

So I'm taking Ternansky for Ochem this fall and a few months ago I purchased an ochem book and solutions manual 5th edition from someone.

But, I was reviewing through my book list and it said that the book has been changed to the Ochem 6th edition version since the new book was released very recently.

I'd rather not have to spend time trying to sell my books and then go and buy the new ones.

So my question is, with Ternansky (and other professors down the line), will I be fine if I just keep using the 5th edition Ochem book, or should I just get the new ones?

Thanks.

this happens pretty frequently, typically you can stick with the earlier edition BUT it is your responsibility to know which chapters correspond between the two editions and if there’s something in the newer one that’s not in yours, then it is YOUR responsibility to make sure you learn it somehow. borrow books from a friend, check them out from the library, whatever. does that make sense?

Yeah. Makes sense.

Thanks Astrina
