last writing question q and a?
anyone

For the passage about exploration and ignorance, I was briefly stuck on a question that had A) intellectual adventurousness and C) ideological solidarity.

I put A, but what did you guys get?

@zetahydrae - I put intellectual adventurism.

intellectual adventurousness

What do you guys think the curves will be like? Harder or easier than usual?

@NYCKevin - I put context, but I was unsure of that one.

@zetahydrae I got A as well.
@NYC I think it was C, the one with bigger context
@psatoct19 the last writing question was where you would place a sentence and I think the answer was before sentence 14 (first sentence of third paragraph). Someone please confirm this?

Before 14 was the only one that made sense

@exeterandover I also put before 14 (D, I think).

Before 14, yes.

so what was the answer for the volcano question? also, wasn’t “comprising of eight stories” describing the author, not the book?

@DaneBrick I put A for the volcano question. For the comprising question, I put author’s novel (whatever they were)

hey if i got -0 in math, -2 in writing, and -6 or 7 in reading would this get me a 216 (i live in AZ and the cutoff was 214 last year, so I’m predicting a 2 point increase)?

@DaneBrick I put A for the volcano question as well but can someone explain why? I thought it was an idiom question but I wasn’t sure.

I am 99 percent sure it was A. The correct idiom is presumed to be

@NYCKevin OK good that’s what I thought

Can we please have a compilation of answers up to now?

Also for the math question with dollars and pages, I got E. Was that right? (E weas dx/y I think where d is number of dollars, y is number of pages you could buy with d dollars, and x pages is how much you have to buy)

^exeterandover ur right

Yes dx/y is correct. Was the vocab apathy…raptness?

@NYCKevin the vocab was impatient with…desultoriness
