wait why not apathy??

also why was that vocab question deliberate? the optiosn were nimble deliberate tempestuous

for me, raptness is related to positive emotion while desultoriness is not having a plan or purpose

@needagoodscore because raptness means lightheartedness, happiness so that didn’t make sense. desultoriness means unconnected and the context clue in the problem was “unrelated” or something like that
the vocab question was deliberate because problem said that writer was free in later years, BUT he was [blank] in early years. so blank=not free=deliberate

^wait but wasn’t the answer that sentence completion about the writer not writing freely “reclusive”?

For the first improving paragraph question, was it B? (the one with the after)

@exeter I’m not sure, I do remember putting the one that was like “After____________, I decided to take my bike out of the garage”

For the reading question with counterintuitive on the ignorance passage in reading, was counterintuitive the right answer?

@exeterandover yes thats what i got

^exterandover, I got that. However, I think the deliberate question should be put up for debate. Here are the definitions of deliberate:
- Done with or marked by full consciousness of the nature and effects; intentional: mistook the oversight for a deliberate insult.

Arising from or marked by careful consideration: a deliberate decision.

Unhurried in action, movement, or manner, as if trying to avoid error: moved at a deliberate pace.

Now here are the definitions of reclusive:
- Seeking or preferring seclusion or isolation.

Providing seclusion

If a writer is not writing freely, isn’t he/she keeping to him/herself, thus being isolated???

Also, what was the answer for the math question where it was talking about j and remainders?

i think it was 6 if im not mistaken

Apathy is wrong because the word it was with was raptness, which made no sense in context. The answer was D, i think.

@squashaddict i agree with you on that one. I knew reclusive meant being isolated or
“quiet” socially, so i assumed it could be used in the same way when describing the writing. However, most of my friends chose deliberate.

Couldn’t the rectangle area be 2640 with dimensions 5 x 22 x 24 or did i read the question wrong?

@needagoodscore how was it 6? I got 3

multiple possible answers

There was one on the writing that was about animals who seem to rely on telepathy instead rely on auditory senses that human are incapable to hear. Was that no error or was the error in incapable?

because it was j divided by 11 with a remainder of five, so j could have been 16, 27 ,etc. then i was take that number * 3 +2 so 16 * 3 +2 divided by 11 and that is 6

i dont think isolated/reclusive is normally used to describe someones writing style. i chose deliberate according to your second definition: Arising from or marked by careful consideration: a deliberate decision. if you are very careful with your writing, youre not writing freely.
