*******October *19* PSAT Answers****

What was the answer to the writing question which was like “…which was where…” and one of the revisions was “where she…” or something.

@JackTC

if that was the agatha Christie question, i think it would be Agatha Christie, who would blah blah blah :I

about agatha christie and her hotel room. I had “Agatha christie who often stayed there”

@JackTC: I’m afraid the posts are too vague for me to recall the exact questions. Could you perhaps be a little more specific.

What was the answer to the question with the remainders with 11?

omg im at 4 CR for sure that are wrong, i think 0 so far in math, and at least 1 (?) in writing

… i really want to move to Wyoming

(jk and no offense :P)

@sponge I think 16.

@cameronl97: Yes, that was the correct answer, no doubt, which is also the answer to Jack’s question :).

I remember the first choice being like “which was where she…” idk. I just rememer there being something italicized before it.

@nickspeaker and spongecollege

6…?

So far I only have 55~ or so questions accounted for…December is a long ways away

16 wasnt a choice though

@nickspeaker and spongecollege. Yes, you could have used 16 as a number which gives you a remainder of 5 and then multiplied 16 by 3 and added 2. The final answer, if you did that, would be 6.

was the question cameronl97 the one that had one of the answer choices “based on unsound assumptions”?

@cameron: Do you think PSAT administrators take bribes to let you see your test scores beforehand? :slight_smile: The wait is much too long for me considering that I have a chance of making NMSF for Arizona (score of 216 would most likely be safe).

Lol and im in az too, i thought the cutoff was about 210- but i dont really know

@ cameron: First of all, cool :D. The cutoff for the graduating class of 2014 was 214, which just came out. Before that however, it was consistently around 210, so that’s why I’m predicting the safe zone to be 215-216. We can congratulate and possibly offer solace (hopefully not) to each other once scores come out.

Peace guys, I’ll be back tonight when there are 30 more pages of discussion for me to contribute to. For now, it’s time to tackle my AP Calc and Chem homework. :(

@nightlock ill be amazed if i touch 195 so no chance at nm for me :(

Can anyone confirm that “satirize a traditional view of journalism” is wrong? I put that and am just curious.
