i put that too me too

@psatperson cant confirm it but i can confirm i and many others put the mocking answer

@cameronl97 This is what confused me… Wasn’t he sort of talking with a touch of irony by questioning the big mass media when in theory he supported it for the required skill it takes to write?

what was the answer to 12 about the oprah question?

@PSATPERSON I believe that it can be confirmed wrong because it wasn’t a “traditional view,” it’s a very modern, recent idea that anyone can be a journalist and that it requires no special skills.

@aquadream can you please elaborate because i am a bit confused on how that ties into this

The “satirize a traditional view of journalism” was an answer specific to one statement in the passage not the passage as a whole

Hi! do you guys remember all the OTHER answer choices for that journalism question (the one with mocking tone)

and also HOW MANY no errors were there? and which ones? (i know they must be somewhere on the board but i cant find them)

@hanapiano what did u put for that question and why?

I got 2 no errors. One was the sunflower one. I can’t remember the other right now.

@psatperson

u see, i dont remember what i put on that question, so i want to know all the other choices to jog my memory ;_;

What was the answer to 23? Was it B: “Based on unsound assumptions…”?

What did you guys say the “thing” about ignorance was?

@Jack I think I put unsound assumptions, but I’m not sure.

@psatperson Development.

What about the “snapshot”?

@nickspeaker, was the other one the union and management question

and do u remember the grammar question “as micromanagers become increasingly…, cellphones can perform” one? did that have an error? i think someone else said it didnt but i thought the correct form would hav eto be “as micromanagers become increasing…cellphones are performing”

but idk

ASDFGHJKL (I’m frantically praying that I did well enough to qualify ;;. i got a 233 last year but that was sophomore year and if i dont make it in junior year, i will become incredibly sad ;;

i said a “possession”

@JackTC what was your reasoning for the satire question. Also how do you still remeber the numbers of the questions?

@psatperson jacktc

what is this satire question exactly? where is it from?

What were the other choices to 23 and the other choices to the “thing” question?

@PSATPERSON The only two answer choices that I considered were “Satirizes a traditional view” and “Points out a serious concern in a mocking tone.” Then, with the line reference, the author was writing stuff that essentially meant “It doesn’t matter that common people lack the professional skills or stuff.” As such, it is pretty obvious that the author is being satirical and mocking. However, it is mentioned that phenomenon of common people acting as journalists is fairly recent, and because traditional is defined as “long-established,” that can’t be right.
