aww i know how u feel

omg my proctor, i think i mentioned before, did not give us time reminders and probably made me screw up a bunch on the first section. i know it was probably my fault, but he went by his clock on his computer and i went by on my watch, which is slower. so yeah. it sucked.

sigh

btw do u remember the other answer choices for the journalism/ satirizing/ mocking question?

and for the oprah question, there was a quote talking about the highbrow culture or something? what was the purpose of that?

was it to show the common problems with book clubs or something else…

For the NEs, I got the flower question as one of them; can’t remember the other

i think 25 or 26 was an NE

@presque

yeah i got what u got for NE

im worried about the “as micromanagers become increasingly…, cell phones can perform taks that would seem blah blah blah”

what did u get for that one?

can anyone jog my memory as to what the union/management one said? like the other choices or something

@presque: :o for the union management problem I thought there was an error in tense in the first part of it. I did get the sunflower one, but I put N/E for the presumably one as well, which is probably wrong.

For the writing section, the volcano one - I thought “until 1968” was wrong because that would imply that scientists believed that the volcano would suddenly become active after 1968, which didn’t make sense… Any thoughts?

@presque

yeah i got what u got for NE

im worried about the “as micromanagers become increasingly…, cell phones can perform taks that would seem blah blah blah”

what did u get for that one?

@hanapiano: there is an error in the condition part (would seem) of that sentence.
@ whoever asked me: I do not remember the other choices for the “satirize” question. All I know is that the mock choice was definitely correct. Sorry.

@nightlock

lol both of them were my questions

about the cell phone questions, that means the underlined “can perform” was the answer right?

I feel absolutely horrible about the writing section right now.

@hanapiano

I put “can ___”. I thought it could be improved by changing it to “will be able to”. I was between that and D.

@hanapiano: i feel like i put “would seem” but honestly i can’t remember, that was one of the questions that i was a little iffy on

does anyone have a compiled list of the answers to section 1 ?

@hanapiano: I thought that it should have been “would have seemed” instead of would seem. My worst enemy is the conditional/present perfect/past perfect tenses for writing, so I am probably wrong. Ask someone more qualified :p.

I can only remember questions which stumped me. @Jack: I have no clue how anyone would remember all or most of them. Photographic memory perhaps :p?

man i wish our scores didnt have to take to december to come out- thats such a long time

i would rather be happy earlier and not have to stress about it for two months if i got in national merit or be sad if i didnt get in but quickly get over it…

i feel terrible about the cr section (i hate CR and collegeboard and stupid tests but idk what can u do :stuck_out_tongue: )

@nightlock

about the conditional and would seem:

ur talking about the cellphone question right? O.o im so confused. as in what part of the sentence exactly did u choose as your answer

Do you guys remember the choices for the photograph metaphor?

I put something about extinction.

There also was “to prove the significance of the discovery,” which I’m not sure really supported by the passage.

Also stuff about technogical advancements and photographic processes.
