@JackTC: Thank you! I put no error as well but everyone said that the correct idiomatic phrase should have been “presumed to be” or “presumed to have been.”

@chrism0713: I see, thanks. So i got a -3/-4 in W which really stings considering the curve :(.

Also one of my buddies who got a 2400 on his SAT insists that it has to be presumed to be.

@NIGHTLOCK and JackTC 2 questions: do u remember the question for 29 in math? I hope I got it right (since it was like the 3rd or 4th question, but dont remember the question) and also for 37, the one about the rectangular prism, would 1320 work (12x11x10)?

as for the idiomatic correction, I don’t think there is an error there because the question is actually adapted from a sentence here: [2008 Geodynamics Seminar: Subduction - From Trench to Arc : Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution](<a href=“Page Not Found - Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution”>2008 Geodynamics Seminar: Subduction – From Trench To Arc - Geodynamics Program). In here they don’t even use “to be” so I don’t think it could be A.

A 77-80 in M or a 75-80 in CR are my lifesavers now, considering that a -4 automatically places you at a 68-69 on the curve.

@swerve22: YES, it could have been 1320. The question asked for POSSIBLE choices. Nice job!

Yeah the question for 29 was like multiply the number by 2 then add 1. So 2, 5, 11, 23, 47

yes it would work i just put the wrong answer in my reply

@JackTC: I see what you are talking about. In here it says “presumed extinct,” but I’m still not sure whether the phrase “presumed that it was” is correct.

@swerve22: JackTC, what you are talking about was actually #28 :p. The answer to #29 was 9. It was about the crayons and color pencils.

@NIGHTLOCK thanks! I’m in AZ so I’m slightly worried about my score, gonna be borderline for sure Looking at -0 M, -2 W, and -4-6 CR

@JackTC yes, i got that one! thanks :)

@swerve22: What a coincidence! I live in AZ as well and I’d say that a 216 would make you 100% safe this year. Looking at that score, it won’t even be close to borderline! You still have quite a cushion. Right now, for me, based on everything on this thread, I’m estimating -0 M, -3 or -4 W, and -1 or -2 CR.

it should be correct. Because if it is correct what they put on that site then adding the words “that it was” shouldn’t make it incorrect.

@JackTC: You have a good point there. I’m eager to see the answer explanations for some of these questions.

Ok I just sent my writing teacher an email. He’s been teaching writing for quite some time. He should be a reliable source…

did anyone get three c’s in a row on the math section???

@chrism0713: Eager to see what he thinks! Did you take a look at JackTC’s thread? He has a pretty legitimate point there.

@imprettysure: I don’t exactly remember but I do not believe I did, sorry.

@imprettysure sorry i don’t remember at all. i could help you if you remember the actual problems.

After seeing all the posts about wanting to move to Wyoming, I want to as well lol.
