@tREXtrainee I don’t see how idiosyncratic was the best choice out of the five. It’s not the first thing that would come to my head when given the description of her magazine column.

@mirell Yep, 77th person in line.

@mouseman Uhhhh I might’ve gotten 18 too… 4268, 4286, 4628, etc etc 6*3=18

I got 24 for that…

Can anyone tell me about the “commended scholars” program? What are the average scores? Does it carry any significant prestige?

Manhattan India= confluence of two cultures?

It wasn’t 24, because one of the numbers was too small to go in the thousands place.

I put confluence of two cultures.

Another cumulative post coming.

Yeah lol I shouldve seen that

@spazzer4501 - that’s what I put.

Same. I also put confluence of two cultures.

What did anyone put for the question about the two journalism passages - did the second one attack an assumption in passage 1?

Or something along those lines.

I put the second passage explains the potential negative consequences of something that was portrayed in a positive light in passage 1.

advertising is inclusive?

Yeah - because it was more attacking New Media, while the other more attacked Big Media.

@ncurcio6 Ubiquitous.

I didn’t put that choice; I put the next one. It didn’t talk about the negative consequences in general - it just had a middle paragraph that talked about the problems of the assumption in 1.

Did anyone else put that?

I put ubiquitous for advertising, but I was a bit unsure on that one…

For the passages about free speech on campuses, one of the answers was that the policies were designed to serve the administration, right?

@harvardfanatic10
It is (x-3)(x+2) because x^2-x-6>0 by definition

@Kestrel I put that the admin. ignored it - regarding the lines about the 1960s.

I believe so
