Wildy, not experimental

You havea triangle prism of sorts, find the base times height.

Base = 5X10X5 root 3
Height = 8
Edit: Nvm, got the wrong question. Iheartivy has it.

widly05,

that question had a 45-45-90 triangle with legs of length 1. its hypotenuse (which was rad2) formed the leg of another right triangle, whose other leg was 1. the question asked for the length of the hypotenuse of this right triangle.

the answer was rad3.

Although my memory virtually gone at this point, I do think I remember a 45-45-90 triangle, and putting rad3.

can anyone write the exact question of the one that has to do with shortest distance to line L?

does anyone remember exactly what that “shortest distance to line L” question was?

Can someone draw it…there was a 3-4-5 triangle to the left…

What do you think I’ll end up with on this math section with 1 grid-in and 1 MC wrong?

For the shortest distance to line l, the answer was just 4. the line going down was 4 and there was another line branching off from P to T which was 3 but that didnt matter, you just had to see that since its a rectangle the distance from T to the line would be 4.

For the problem about how many animals were treated with the pie graph, did the questions ask how many treated were not birds or how many treated were birds?

Im 100% sure rad 3 is correct

What did those of you put for the question for the number of possible solutions for this equation:

sqrt(x) + 3 = a - 7 ?

Was it 0, 1, or 2?

does any one remember the numbers involved in two different questions, the gallon mc and uphill/downhill one?

i think it asked how many animals were NOT birds

college1385: It was how many were not birds. Since 200 were birds and there were 2000 animals, the answer was 1800

damit…but thanks mabsjenbu and mifune

civomorth: Yes I remember the question. He did 8/5 down the hill and 6/5 up, so the ratio of down walking to total distance travelled was (8/5) / (8/5 + 6/5) = 8/14 or 4/7.

agree with 4/7

I know the answer was rad3*200
but what were some other answer choices?

Do you remember what was the answer for the R question. It was like R is an integer and what makes it greater
the answer choices were like
R(2)
R^2 +1
R^3+1

R^2+1, the rest would fail with a negative

The tri prism question was 400rad3. It was a 10-10-10 equilateral triangle with height of 8.

Base (10) * TriHeight (5Rad3) * Height (8) = 80*5Rad3=400Rad3

you forgot to divide it by two
for the area of the base(triangle) do you remember other answer choices?
