So I just looked at my score report online for the october 2010 sat, and the math curve seems really harsh to me.
I got 4 wrong, 0 omit, and got a 690 :\ is this normal, or is it rather harsh?

It was pretty easy in my opinion. Therefore, the curve would be harsh.

My score -4, 2 omit, 680???

Hmm i guess, it’s just I looked at the chart of previous test curves (http://www.erikthered.com/tutor/SAT-Released-Test-Curves.pdf) and it seems that even the harshest curve there gave 710 for -4 on math ):

Remember, 4 wrong is actually -5 not -4.

The October 2010 curve was essentially the same as the October 2009 curve; both math tests were on the easy side with the curve being correspondingly tough.

yeaaa I just realized that
lame, I guess it was a similar curve to the January '10 test then

i took both the jan '10 and the oct '10
i got 2 wrong on the jan and got a 740
i got 1 wrong this time and got a 770…

i’ll just hope that the curves for dec will help me out

I omitted 1 and missed 1 —> 750. Seems harsh to me, but apparently it’s nothing too unusual.

DUDE. Meeeee too. I thought it was harsh but then someone said that the curve for this year was the same as october 2009. eww. sadface.
