October 2011 - Chemistry

So glad i finished this as a freshman!! Hahahahaha lololol good times

freshman??
thats cool
did you take, like, after chem(honor) course?
how’d you do?

There was something about something dissolving to make a weak acid.

anyone order Q&A from college board?
is there any point to doing so?
Idk if i should or shouldn’t…its $18

They don’t offer it for subject tests?

ohh,
… ._.
ic…
Didnt see “not available for SAT Subject Tests” >.<

oh no…
I know this is sorta off topic, about Q&A
but, I told my mom about Q&A yesterday after the test, and printed a form out…
and…she already sent the check and form…
Will calling collegeboard help me with my problem? or, do I just ignore it and nothing will happen

hm. water extraction sounds plausible cause KI is the only one that would dissolve. but doesn’t a sieve trap iron fillings and sand as well leaving KI the only component that would pass through?

Anyone remember a question about a molecule dissolving to make a weak acid?

@ca2012: Was it the classification one in the beginning? The answer was methane, CH4.

im not SURE but i think i mightve put co2. because co2 + h2o = h2co3
i dont really remember though…

@Vouloir…
***, why would methane dissolve in water, it’s clearly nonpolar was that even one of the choices?

You really think -4 is an 800? In my Princeton Review book the curve on the practice tests was like 8 questions, and in the Barrons book it was a score of -10 for an 800. Doesn’t -4 seem a bit harsh?

-4 sounds right
the barron and princeton practice tests are harder than the real test so they have a more leniant curve

i think the blue collegeboard book has like, -4 or -5 curve for 800 also

I omitted 15 and who knows how many I got wrong… whats the highest I can hope for? xD

if u like, miss very very little, like <5, ~700?
if like, 15+, i think, around, <640?
that’s just my guess, :]
