After much debate, I also chose handling. She didn’t really manage it, that’d be like doing something. Not “handling” how what was managed was carried out, if that makes sense.

Recondite? I got down to two answers, recondite and the one I chose. What was that question again?

Oh, I know that the one about social injustice was definitely ameliorate.

i put handling for the management vs handling question and
caustic for the caustic vs. vehement one (:

“handling” is a word used very often to describe how an author covers a topic. “management” seemed to miss the exact idea.

I thought vehement was too strong and emotional. I chose caustic.

what was the social injustice one was it a passage questoin or vocab?

@Hopeful - Vocab for sure.

@djumper: The question was something along the lines of “Fiber optics are so _______ that most people can’t understand it” The answer is definitely recondite.

What did everyone get for the art passage? I hated that one.

Vocab, about King and Malcom X. Answer was ameliorate.

How about the first question on the art passage? About the extremes of art? I put A, which was the long response about the two ways art can apparently exist. Anyone else?

@ProspectiveAppli … Same :)

^I put A or B, can’t remember which.

The one that had “self-conscious decadence” or something was wrong.

Those were the two I was deliberating between, but “decadence” was part of B which I decided didn’t fit.

It looks like “vehement vs. caustic” and “handling vs. management” are contested as of now. I think I’m leaning towards handling, which would mean I’m wrong (I think, I know I was picking between those two), but I’m not certain.

What was the answer to the vocab question with the choice “Pordent” in it?

It was something about the concrete reality vs. the abstract nature of art itself.

@Loseyourself: I agree, and that is the answer I chose.

The author of the art passage had a personal and reflective tone… right?

^ that’s what i chose

@iLiveonCC I hope so, but I it could have been whimsical/conversationalist. But I agree that personal/reflective was the better choice.

What was the tone for the two passages about nuclear energy? Emphatic or disparaging?

@prospective: yeah most of my friends got that too. What was the answer to the “art is a detour” question? A guide through life or an escape from everyday life?

@ajeck: emphatic
