<p>I agree that management and handling are synonyms. When I was taking the test and I read the question, I thought immediately that neither could be the answer since the were both so close in meaning. I actually chose “proposal”. The passage says something about the “treatment of her life and ideas”. The passage was the opening of a biography, and I chose “proposal” because I thought it meant the author was going to be proposing the ideas of the woman in the biography. To me, “handling” and “management” just did not make sense. Although it doesn’t seem to be the consensus, and I’m probably wrong, I kind of think my answer makes a lot of sense.</p>

I was looking on the supposedly consolidated list, and I see:
Treatment = Handling
and below that shaping baker’s life. I thought they were the same question, but I guess not.</p>

<p>I think the nature writing passage was a regrettable development. The author said that the movement “had produced some fine objective writing” but at the end there was a definite tone of regret as he lamented about how the movement had brought nature writing away from centering on the human experience.</p>

<p>^ I think most everyone thought it was harder than average. The curve SHOULD be easier, but no one knows, and won’t know until they get their scores. Just wait :)</p>

<p>I know there was execution, handling, and treatment. What were the other two options? Because on a list of answers floating around on this forum, there was “shaping” right below it. Was that one of the options for the treatment/handling/execution question, or was that another question altogether? Because now I have no idea what this handling question is. Haha. (:</p>

<p>@tasreep: The author said she wanted to bring Baker’s human complexity justice in the last paragraph. It was probably the last few lines. And the political answer you’re thinking about might be the answer that the author had similar political values as Baker.</p>
