From what I hear, 4.7 is correct

I didn’t do 49 and 50. The whole sequence of complex numbers thing freaked me out so I didn’t even try. I bet it wasn’t even as hard as it looked

thank you alexmass! i sort of psyched myself out on that one and ended up guessing -6…hooray!

lev it wasnt lol. like you, i freaked out just by looking at the question cause i had like 5 min left :/

so far i definitely got the similar triangles wrong, the boxplot wrong, and the regression wrong. left two blank :/

oh yeah i didn’t even bother with 50, i barely studied complex numbers at all so it would have taken me a lot longer and i figured i could spend that time on other problems that i had skipped.

for the problem that was like {1, 5, 10, 100} what’s the probability that any two numbers chosen add up to more than 100? i chose .5 but i’m honestly awful at probability.

did u guys get F(x)= - f( - x) for that picture one? I’m pretty sure it was reflected over the y and x axis so this had to be the solution.

Yeah it was .5. There are 6 outcomes in the sample space, and 3 of them are over 100

Alexmass yes that is the answer

it was .5!!!

i got .5 too:/ but dam i think its wrong. seemed too easy

the answer to the ellipse question (x^2)/4 +(y^2)/9 = 1 and y=15 was 12 right? the distance between the two equations on a graph

{1, 5, 10, 100}
Sample Space = (6, 11, 101, 15, 105, 110)
only 101, 105, and 110 are over 100. 3/6 = .5

I got 12. It was a vertically-oriented ellipse with vertices at (0, ± 3)
so 15- 3 = 12
I really hope that’s right

Got tripped up on the sinA=0.3 one and went with -0.96 or something. Anyone know what the answer was?

I got .5 for the 4 number set, 4.7 for sim triangles, and -f(-x) for those who have been asking.

for the sina=0.3, i just plugged in every answer choice and i think the last answer was was the only negative result…

was the sinA one like .8939 or something? positive

It asked for like the CosA right? I can’t remember. The easy way is just to graph it and see the intersection

yep i got f(x)=-f(-x) too

When finding the side when given the 3:2 ratio for two triangles, what was the other number that you’re given?

Did anyone get the population one

Am I the only person who got 77 for the student council combination problem?
