How do you tell?

Does anyone know for sure if the scores will be up at midnight?

none of the schools I applied to on my portals say anything about the october act. does that mean I didn’t do as well as my other one?

Chat I just had with ACT:

Bijou M: Hi, we are reviewing your question and will be right with you.
Bijou M: The first cycle will be processed at midnight and you will be able to view the scores if yours was processed early in the morning.
Bijou M: If you have established a web account, an email will be sent to you to let you know that your scores are ready
You: okay thank you!

Sweet, thanks!

so does that mean they’ll be out at 12? @dullbd

midnight east coast or west coast?

Ny with writing, still registered :(

Just logged on and the status is Tested for me and I took the test in California.

CST.

Wait. Something doesn’t make sense. I called ACT about the fact that it says on their website that they don’t send scores w/ writing to the schools until they have the writing (essay) score. They confirmed this is true. But the writing takes a couple more weeks than the composite. For this reason, my son decided there was no reason not to wait until seeing the scores to pay to send them to his ED school. So why do these schools have scores already?!

Not sure, perhaps writing has been scored as well? I know one of my daughter’s schools has received her scores and she took the writing portion.

How do you know the schools have the new scores? I can’t tell on any of mine-- Ohio State; Case western; Purdue; and Miami U.

Has anyone tried to view their scores early?? I don’t know how to do it.

What time do scores come out tonight? Mine says tested

From what I’ve gathered scores for some will be posted at midnight, but not all. I wouldn’t stay up at night personally. I’ll check when I wake up and constantly throughout the school day, but I’m not going to stay up 2-3 hours than I normally would for a chance of seeing them several hours earlier.

Link to the early act score checker?

I probably won’t be able to fall asleep tonight anyway, so I’ll just stay up and see how I did.

There are instructions on how to check it early in the OP of this thread, keep in mind that you’re doing the October ACT not the June one: <a href=“Official June ACT Score Thread (now available) - ACT Preparation - College Confidential Forums”>http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/act-preparation/1516805-official-june-act-score-thread-now-available.html

How to get your scores early:
- Log in to your ACT student account
- Go to “My Test Dates and Scores”
- Click June ACT
- Write down or copy the numbers at the end of the URL (your ACT ID)
- Go to the homepage
- Replace the homepage url with this:
javascript:displayWindow(‘actibeCTsdScoresPrt.jsp?pdf.x=1®Id=xxxxxxxx’,800,800) - Replace the X’s with your ACT June ID
- Remove any spaces in the URL and you may need to retype “javascript:” (no quotation marks) at the beginning of the URL because sometimes it will dissapear after copy and pasting it
- Press enter
"
However my attempts so far have yielded either “Transaction cannot be complete” or nulls. To get null I had a space in this area of the link (no quotes): “jsp? pdf”

I don’t think this method works anymore, but I’m going to try periodically throughout the day before I go to bed
