My friend just got the scores… i think there’ll be no more scores post till next Friday…
OH MY GODDD!!!

Dude it’s a 34…

@Yangster97 Its people like you that make others hate this website. How could you possibly complain about getting a 34? 99% of people would be beyond ecstatic to get that score and here you are complaining about it

Hm…I do sound like I come across like a male genitalia…
Let me rephrase this.
We are all shooting for a score. Some people might be taking the act just because the score is required for college while others might be trying to make up for their weaker gpa’s/extracurriculars on their application.
My GPA is an obvious weakness. To compensate, I am striving for high standardized test scores. These include a 2250+SAT/35 ACT. I diligently worked through the red book and on the first practice test I received a 34. 5 practice tests and a real test later, I am still at a 34.
Have any of you not striven for something and failed trying?
Everyone has different standards. Sure, my standards for the ACT might (probably are) higher than most people’s standards.
This doesn’t mean that said people don’t have higher standards for other activities that I might have as a low priority.
Y’all might try to run for a leadership position in school. If you don’t receive the president position but instead received vice pres and became frustrated at that, then you’re not considering all the other applicants wanting vice pres.
If you’re in a sports team and became frustrated that you placed 2nd instead of 1st, then you’re not considering all the other teams who just wanted to be in the top 3.
Different standards.
I have a different standard for the ACT. Y’all have different standards for the ACT. We all have different standards in virtually everything. Just because people (99% apparently) are hoping for a 34 does NOT mean that everyone else wishes for a 34 as well. The 1% might want more.

Just got score for my son now

I’m also in Seoul, I didn’t yet, you, either yet?

@Yangster97 34 ACT translates to about a 2250-2260 SAT.
And not to mention that the Red book is severely outdated and completely unreliable.
And college adcoms looking at your application will not disadvantage you because you got a 34 and not a 35.
Cheers.
PS. This is coming from someone who scored a 34 on this same test, I’m absolutely ecstatic.

do any other poor souls who are STILL waiting for scores know whether it will be tonight or tomorrow morning?

I think tomorrow morning at 8 CST, so that means 9 EST. It’s so depressing having to continue to wait

Did someone at ACT give you that time.

it’s on the ACT facebook page

No score for us. I’m praying for them to show up at 8am!

The ACT facebook page just says “by 8am”. I hope that doesn’t mean that’s it for the day.

Everyone’s scores have come out at or after 8 am CST. Don’t worry until then.

Mine just flipped to tested!

Andd i got a 29… blech

Ahhh does that mean I’m not getting my scores today??

unfrigging believable. My poor kid. Still no score. No chance of anyone getting this in time for his ED/EA’s.

Ahhhh. is act insane…? Why am I not getting my scores…

I still did not get my score…
I have to report my October score to Early schools…
