October 6 SAT CR passages

i do not recall the tribunal question at all. i remember seeing it in the passage though. its a good sign none of us remember it, maybe it was just an easy question we all did quickly. if anyone can remmeber the question or the choices, that’d be nice.

yeah i don’t remembenr the tribunal quesiton either

can someone outline it and go over possible answer choices / correct answer?

the answer was something like objective…illuminating? something like that, i’m not sure of the question or the other choices. hope that helps =]

I am an SAT teacher. It was definitely overabundance.

what was the answer to photos on wall vs. photos on albums? it was in the photo passage.

any1
asfdadsfsa

dont worry it was a really easy question. it was like “why does she prefer photos on the wall rather than in a book”

and the answer is that they are always on display to see or soemthing. it was straight out of the passage. difficulty: E

im jsut hoping the tribunal quesiton wasn’t hard; i just don’t remember it.

does anyone remember puttign accessible for the second blank in a sentence completion that was about like producing drugs/medicine.

the other choise was like create…feasible.

i thought it was create…accessible
and are you sure the question with the answer choice capitulate was an experimental?

The “tribunal” was basically a term to describe the group of all historians. The questioned asked how the author of passage 1 would describe this tribunal. There were a few negative choices, like misguiding figures (or something like that), and the answer was “objective and illuminating.” I thought it was a pretty easy question.

Alos, the sailer passage…i put the fear of the men as the main point and on the other question, put the paralyses of death or inevitable doom or something.. …why would that be wrong?

ameaturs…legitmize or something? anyone?

wait what? SATmaster, which questio are you talking about?

Yep, I remember getting “amateurs…legitimize” for one of my vocab answers.

what was the answer to the “gaping” one? i put the people’s appetite for hisory to irresponsible hisorians (?)

Lauren, I put the same answer. However, CC appears to have reached consensus on the answer being “the audience’s susceptibility to persuasion.” There’s still the chance we might be right, but I wouldn’t count on it.

yeah, thats what i got.

and thats what i got, also.

and i got that, too.

Was the tribunal one different from the indespensible guides one? If it was, then I think I may have done well.

It has been weird going over these questions with all of you… it feels kind of releiving, and kind of harrowing at the same time. I can honestly say, however, that I hope we all did well, because I know for many, that this is the final SAT.

what was the minority question in the historian thing? Like the “minority mentioned in passage 2 would…”. I said that history would be a questonable guide or somthing

I remember one of my answers had “illuminating” in it, and I think it was the question with the “minority in passage 2”.
I also had something about history being a questionable guide, so I think that was a separate question.

Ehh, this was the final SAT for me. So whatever happens happens, I am not taking it again. Unless I absolutely FAILED which I don’t think I did..
