curious what you all think the curve/scale will be on this test

my figuring based on both how I did and what I heard from others:
form 73A
English: somewhat generous
math: very generous
reading: generous-very generous
science: harsh-generous

I had form 73B (some are calling it the experimental version).
english: somewhat generous
math: generous- very generous
reading: somewhat generous (there were some weird question formats that I have never seen on a prior ACT or practice test)
science: extremely generous (there were four 7 question passages and NO easy 5 question passages that don’t require any reading) That was the hardest science I have ever seen on a practice or real ACT.

yep I took September and had 73 A
English was the same (36 sept)
math was twice as hard (34 sept)
reading was easier for me (35 sept)
science easier for me (30 sept)

English: a bit generous (1 to 2 wrong a 36)
Math: Generous (2 to 3 wrong a 36)
Reading: Harsh (0 wrong a 36)
Science: Moderately Generous (1 wrong a 36)

I’m not really basing this off of anything, just my feeling about the test. I could, of course, be very wrong.

I think I got the experimental test and let me just say…English and Math were insanely easy and reading and science were extraordinarily difficult compared to past ACTs and practice tests I have taken. Is everyone saying the experimental one is with the Humanities split passage with two people writing a review for the same book, while also having extreme unbalance in the first passage of the twins with 8-9 text reference questions?

I feel like there should be extremely generous curves on the reading and science ones, the others seemed very easy.

dkhuro
I had the same reading as you with the split passages and I had 73a
but I thought math was REALLY hard
what were some questions on your math?

cjjw1995, it had 1 cylinder and 1 cone question, as well as lots of diagonal plane and triangle geometry. I had problems with a few towards the last 11 problems.

This is based on what i’ve taken with the ACT red book. Just compared their curves and tests with the test we took today. Of course, it is all MY opinion

I got a 35 on the math on the September test and I got AT LEAST 3 wrong that time, and this math test seemed even harder. So I’m hoping for the most generous curve from ACT ever haha.

I’m hoping for the same curve as September, and I’m fairly confident that we’ll get it. I know after every test people complain about it being difficult, but I believe that this one actually was very difficult.

Shoot… I am soo scared that i failed in reading and science… hoping for a 10-12 on essay, 33-36 on Englisg and 35-36 on Math…Only if i had done better in reading and science.
