With one wrong on math and with 6 wrong in critical reading what do you think the score would be?

780-790 math (according to collegeboard, 790 is the score)

710-720 critical reading

According to collegeboard? where did you get that info from o_o

Did you email collegeboard or are you just following their scoring tables? because the tables say 750-800

congratz on ur 2300

I received it online from the 2009 Official SAT Preparation Booklet.

lol, congratz to who?

I went to google and searched 2008-2009 Official Sat Prep booklet. And on page 86-87 it came up with the official scoring guide.

Named "OFFICIAL SAT SCORE CONVERSION TABLE"

congrats to who?

sorry to burst your bubble, each test has a different curve.
that's why each QAS explicitly states that the scoring guide is only used for that particular test.

Yes, but I also confirmed this with a CollegeBoard representative. They said this is the general curve for most SATs. Obviously the fact of hard-easy does play a role, but such is minimal when only referring to 1 wrong.

anh timmy what do you think 1 wrong will be on the math.

Why do you even bother to speculate this matter? The scores are coming out in 12 days - nothing you do can change what your score is. How do you know for sure you only missed 1 in math? You could have made a stupid mistake. Also, you can't be certain how many you missed in CR or did not miss. Wait for the scores and quit wasting space on this forum.

True, but 10 points can mean alot :P
if you know what I mean

i believe it's going to be a 780.

math was way too easy.

@shiomi, lol :P

Shiomi I understand what you are saying but why are you reading/posting if you don't care? What did you get on the SAT?

yeah i know, but i figured one wrong might be 780 or 790. How about CR, I got 700 in June, but in October I think I missed one less. So that is like a 710-720. English was more difficult this time

You'd might be surprised.
I thought OCT was extremely easy.
so you might get the same score or less :P

SC had easy vocabs and passages were pretty normal (no boring, confusing stuff).

First of all anhtimmy what does :P mean?
Second of all anhtimmy you are saying you scored extremely well and everything is so easy. So why do you constantly post and boast, if all you score is the most. You are better than that!

I said I thought it was easy (juxtaposing to the other tests).
I never said I did well. lol

don't assume, that's bad :]

and :P is a smiley. the colon are eyes and the P is a tongue.

I got a 780 math for -1 in december, and I thought THAT test was harder than this time. -1 for this test is most likely 770.
