i feel really bad for skipping 5 questions... i think i got rest of them right
i should have read the question more carefully

I thought that question was a trap, the one with the trapezoid and circles. However, I still put 20- the (Joe bloggs) answer.

For the perimeter question, look at ahtimmy's post (post 422).

Quick question,

what letter was answer 62 for 6<sqrtx<10?

D?
thanks

62 was D ...

what was the answer to the one where it gives you the arc and the triangle and you had to figure out the area of the shaded region...

i think i got like 9sqr2-6pi...i knew it was 6pi i just didn;t know if it was 18sqr or 9sqr...and somehow i got 9 but now not so sure anymore..

^ I got 18Sqr2-6pi.

that was C.
i think 18sq(3) - 6 pi , not 9

18(sqrt 2) - 6 pi

I think that's what I put

it was 18sqrt2-6pi

the triangle's sides were 6 and 6sqrt2
so the area is 18sqrt2.

the area of the circle is pi(6)^2
since it only covers 60 degrees, you have to divide by 6, which gives you 6pi.

so it as C? 18sqrt2-6pi

Akitorin...

Yes, that's the one I'm talking about.

I'm pretty sure it was 18sqr2 - 6pi but I rushed with that one since time was almost up.

@junshik

I thought it was a trick too at first, but I couldn't find justification for any other answer..

How did you come up with 18(sqrt 2)????

i thought the triangle was a 3-4-5....

I was confused and just skipped it....

same here 18 sqrt 2 - 6 pi

Did anyone here have the math experimental section, and do you have any idea which one it was?

I got 18sqrt2 - 6pi also. I did it sort of the "wrong" way but it worked out. I forgot how to calc the area of a part of a circle, so I just found the area of the equilateral triangle and it wasn't anywhere near 15pi...

I think the answer was 18root3 - 6pie for the shaded region question (3 4 5 triangle).

well i think i put 18 (sqrt 3) - 6pi cuz...

1) the degree measure was 60 degrees so its area is 1/6 that of the cirlce, and it has an area of 6 so the area of 1/6 cirlce is actually 6pi. and 6 is the leg of 60 degress so using 30-60-90 i got the area of the triangle .5BH which was 18sqrt3 and i subtracted 6pi from it to get the answer.

damn i got that one wrong and -f(x)=f(-x) i was just thinking that it was asking for an even equaction so i crossed off all of the odd equation...

other than that i think it was pretty good.

so 2 wrong for now...and probably 2 more just by stupid mistakes...so 690-770 according to the blue book...most likely 700...damn

and for the triangle arc one..i was using the law of sine or something...and i was confused and rushed.
