yeah the answer choice had "boorish" in it. Man, do those SAT writers really try to make the choices difficult. If it was in plain english the test would be 8923740983274897x easier lol

^ Yeppos ~~~~~~

i know this is a very annoying question, but cloaked under the facade of anonymity...-- how many can one miss to get an 800? ive got two off so far..

-2 is definitely an 800. Beyond that, who knows. According to the blue book 59/61 is 800, but I think that's really harsh.

I probably missed 2-3 so I'm hoping for an 800

for the man wont give up horse
i put taht he shows stubborness in not letting go to a long friend or something..

It emphasizes his country boorishness. The squire is not the same person as the poet

hm, I'm not sure if I recall.

btw, did people put down that he was trying to emphasize the routine of country life by listing out what she does?

waht is the answer to the one with the indian marriage
the last sentence in the paragraph where the aunt and uncle are all "oh is our house not good enough for you?"
there was a footnote that mentioned the first indian prime minister

also in that passage- his reaction to his uncle-
did he want to be rich?

lolcats i put that he was emphasizing by... i think comparing city life or country life
that or saying life w/o him is boring
i dont reember what i put though

i dont think ht was cataloguing

was, ignore other people's feeling, an answer?

for what question?

What was the answer for the question in the country passage which dealt with "all of the following was implied except"
was the answer something like "superiority of the city"

grahams i think the answer to that was something with putting his uncle complaints in context on a national scale- but i didn't say the choice with "problems"

All was implied except that they addressed each other, if I think we're referring to the same question.

and I agree with your answer on the Indian passage

k cool thanks
haha i dont even remember what i put down..
oh well

what was the answer to the EXCEPT question about what the two people had in common for the country poem? one of the choices was realizing reality.

^for that one I put they both expressed affection for e/o. idk if i chose it in the end, but it was one that i got stuck on.

^ yeah I picked that one too

there were two 'except' questions for that passage, right? i remember putting down expressing affection and also asserting the superiority of country life

^yep, there were two EXCEPT, and I picked both of those.
