did anyone choose appalling for the passage about Louisa and Dagget?

I thought for that question all the choices were pretty bad.

Oh, it was like "what can be inferred about the guy in this passage?"

i put like..he was a new criminal, because this was his 2nd time to rob anyone.

stasis, the question was the EXCEPT type, so do u mean chose as in left as correct or as in marked as the incorrect one? I chose it as the incorrect one, was deciding between appaled and impatient but then said he was not appaled as he seemed rather intimidated...

yeah, i chose appalling, i think it was an except question? Dagget wasn't appalled with Louisa.

A New England Nun

but then i don't know of the word impatient can be used in this context...

i chose appalling for the actual answer to the question. i actually don't remember the context of the question. but i thought he wasn't appalled. so wouldnt that be the answer?

i think (hope) so:)

for the Louisa and Dagget passage, did any of you put for the question about "You do beat everything" that he was saying she was peculiar? i was unsure

i think he was both pointing out he didn't like her obsessie manners and that she's the best of all for him... dunno how the answer choice exactly read...

I believe so. Nice of them to put in an idiom that we've never heard of. Also stumped by dragon tooth question.

Kaznack, are you saying I believe so in regards to my question?

we should get together some answers. What was the one about the dragon teeth--revenge? What was the answer about the Indian Woman- was it self serving or against human nature of flexibility?

for indian woman, i put self serving.

i put self serving for indian woman. it fits Pygmalion too.

I did, but than I changed to against human nature. AS hard as she tried she was "torn" between two identities

I thought the test was kinda difficult, at least compared to Math I and US History.... I wasn't sure on a lot of my answers... hopefully I got them right though! :)

I predict my score at around... 680ish

I put appalled- yes, it was an except question.

The dragon's tooth one was the hardest, I think. Usually they explain the reference if it isn't simple.

for the dragon i said something about having its life of its own or something? anyone else say that?
Another question asked which element was not in a poem- i said balance but i dont know.
Also did the passage rely on periodic sentences?
And what was the only thing that did not happen ( in the virgin country poem)- address each other?

I put address.

Dragon tooth, I put genetics, herdiatry, generation? something like that.

I didn't put balanced- I put personification.
