OCTOBER SAT Subject Test: Math Level 2

scores were ready right at 5:00 AM

It was funny because I had CC and CB open at the same time and people on CC were reporting scores while DD had not come up. Conclusion, it is not all instantaneous.

Anyhow, D got 790 (had actually thought she might have an 800)
She also took Math I as a backup "just in case" and got a 740. Ironic.

This curve was stupendous. I had omit 8 and probably 2 wrong and it was a 790. Praise the SAT gods!

gosh.. 600
well last year i had 560.
i dont know if the people from admisson office look at the fact that im not a native speaker and dont live in the us..
but anyway ill probably take the test again..

800 ...I am excited

curve must've been really nice. i skipped 4 and got at least 2 wrong (checked with CC people.)

800! - not a factorial.

Curve was sweet. :D

800 even though I left like 5 (or more?) blank and prob got a bunch wrong.

lol just waiting to see how many end up with 800 thanks to the curve.

congrats guys!!

That's exactly what happened to me!!!! I got a 790 in SAT math II and a 770 in MathI.. haha

800 yay! I thought I did well, but this is still a nice surprise :)))

800!! yay!

800 here too, guys!!! whooo hoooo!!! hi-5!

800! yipeee! I'm like giggling around right now.

Congrats to everyone else.

gah! I hate all of you guys an your 800's...lol kidding

780 yay me

Only on CC would any other score than an 800 seem deficient. :)

is 720 a good score for MIT?

now I'm feeling bad with my measly 760
but meh
was right before my HSC so barely studied haha

From the following link, you can see the typical scores of admitted students:

MIT Admissions: Admissions Statistics

For the Math, the middle 50% is 740 - 800 (which also means that last top 25% is also 800). 720 should be a score for accepted students, but it is in the bottom 25% of admitted. Basically, no one factor will get you in or keep you out. The 720 will be in the context of your whole application.

Found this link. I know that it is not for the correct year. MB someone else has a newer report link 07/08. But seeing the percentiles, is interesting. By percentile, Ds 740 on Math I is higher than her 790 on Math II.
