Ya that is. I put the same. I looked at the older SAT II math thread back in Feb. and they had the same question. LOL

^
that's what i got also

for the square w/ points ...
did anyone get lxl + lyl = p

I didn't, meili, but it's the right answer, it's one of the sample q's in the blue book

anyone remeber the question with equating x y and a or something? There were I thru V to choose from, anybody put I and IV?

yep, i got I and IV.

YES I PUT I AND IV I DEFINITELY DID PUT THAT
woooooooooooooooot
maybe I didn't get a 200?

so ur sure ray isn't correct? ****

well a ray implies never ending on one side and a point on the other, so the point part is right but planes don't go infinitely on in one direction

It couldn't be a ray because it would extend one way infinitely but have a starting point, if they intersected like that the line created would have to extend in both directions forever.

Looking at the (0,p)... problem now i feel like an idiot, its not that hard, I guess i just got really nervous and starting thinking everything was more complicated than it actually was.

I thought the test was relatively easy... is that bad? I put that the three planes would intersect in a line only-- I just can't see them intersecting in a point. Anyone care to explain?

I went through the whole test but didn't have time for that one problem about a square doubling in area until it gets to 100,000. I left that one blank. I prepared with Barrron's and Princeton Review, but not to an obsessive extent or anything. I thought the Barron's really overprepared me-- there were so many topics I worked on that weren't even covered.

omg, so it's maybe just a bunch of us who found it so difficult and immediately went to discuss it here and it wasn't really that bad...:D hope this is not the case, though, as the curve wouldn't be better then...

Whats the normal curve?

With all the people canceling, that will make the curve less lenient, right?

tht's right I think. but I wouldn't say too many people are cancelling... and the CB have to be used to that, so I wouldn't really say it has a huge impact

I though it was kind of hard. I had no idea what that thing was when it said blah-blah matrice (question 12) where there was like some two level equation i had never seen before. I left 6 blank.

If you cancel a score, does it show up as "CANCEL" on the score report sent to colleges, or is it completely erased from your record?

Wow, that test was a beast! I had 9 questions left with 30 seconds left so I just put C for 7 of them and left 2 blank....when I was prepping I scored 800s on the PR and CB tests, but omg...this test was so freaken hard...please let there be a super generous curve!!!!!!!!!

I should have managed my time more wisely...ugh...

^ definitely a generous curve
I skipped 7 and i know i missed 2. Im canceling.

For that question i put ''A''

it was lxl+lyl=p or something like that
Does anybody know if choice A was the answer lxl+lyl=p ? I think I put that answer down in the last minute though I know it's right now.
