Odd combo between Low GPA, High SAT,Ap scores, and EC. What are my chances at these ?

<p>In highschool, I received a terrible GPA. I got a GPA of nearly exactly 3.0</p>

<p>However, I got 800 m, 740 CR, and 660 W on the sat. I also got two 800's on math 2 and physics.</p>

<p>I took about 10 ap tests, with 6 5's and 4 4's.</p>

<p>I have some pretty odd EC. I own a national weightlifting record(sophmore year) and was football mvp freshman year. I took several math classes online from the stanford EPGY program, and I passed calculus BC in the 8th grade.</p>

<p>I applied to UCLA, UCSD, Berkeley, UoC, Yale, and UC Irvine.</p>

<p>It seems that none of the online "chance of this college" are consistent with each other when it comes to me, not surprising since im a somewhat odd case.</p>

<p>What do you guys think my chances are of entering these colleges?</p>

<p>I don’t think you have a really odd profile. Here’s what a high SAT/AP with low gpa tells me: </p>

<p>1)your school is tough. The teachers don’t give out many As. </p>

<p>2)Either that, or you’re not a teacher-pleaser. </p>

<p>3)Or you “don’t get” the school routine of ‘put your HW here, look prepared, stop talking when you sit down…’ </p>

<p>The thing that will make a difference is where you are applying, as “fit” is important. Your schools look fine, especially the bigger ones. Yale may be too small. At least you’re not applying to a LAC!.</p>
