Thanks guys, I’d really love to get in and I’m finding info that’s all over the place as far as what they expect. If any actual UGA students/applicants could chime in that’d be great.

EDIT: Originally this was supposed to be just for UGA… but because I’m greedy and others are doing it if people have any ideas on Purdue, University of Richmond, Wake Forest, University of Florida, BU, and Georgia Tech I’d love to hear them. Thanks again

You have good odds at UGA (SAT offsets some of the GPA). What is your weighted GPA as that may make things a lot more of a slam dunk? GaTech is gonna be a bigger struggle because the GPA is definitely low for them, and the SAT not really an anomaly. Purdue and Wake are in your wheelhouse (Wake is test optional, but you need to send your score).
Assuming you’re from Georgia, find an emergency backup in GSU, KSU, UWG, VSU, etc.

EA is stats driven. They take the top of the top… Expect deferral. Slight risk of denial. but most likely deferral.

Unfortunately that is weighted  I saw something where UGA bumps APs a letter grade though?

I’m from up north though, not GA.

Also on a 4.0 scale, not 5.0

Oh that may complicate things. I’d make sure you have a safety in-state to add to your list.
Does your prep school do grade deflation (grade harshly so even top kids don’t have super high GPAs). I kinda assumed that they did, and that may help. Otherwise you may want to wait until you get these semester grades in to boost your GPA

I have an in state safety as well. Bump
Would like some extra opinions/suggestions on UGA as well as some of the other listed schools

Bump again
Freaking out a little because the admitted grades for people from my school on naviance were just around a 3.4…

You are better off getting on their admissions blog than repeatedly bumping this thread
