Odds of winning finachal aid appeal

I do not meet Satisfactory Academic Progress(SAP), according to my schools standards. The reason i do not comply with SAP, is lack of a 67% unit completion rate. I have attempted 47.5 units and completed 31........ completing 65 percent.

This last summer i had to withdraw from a 5 unit course. This W left me under the 67% mark. It is standard for a warning to be sent out stating that i am under the threshold, however i never was warned. During the fall semester i was completely unaware of the SAP warning i was under. During the fall semester i became employed and because of it only took 7 units(passed 2 classes with B's). If i was warned about my academic progress i would have enrolled in 3 extra units this pass fall, that would have raised my completion percentage above 67%.

I currently am no longer working in order to take on a full course load. Since i am no longer working, financial aid is my only means of supporting myself. Without aid i will be forced to find a job, likely resulting in dropping/failing classes.

So what are the odds of convincing a board to reinstate my aid?
My GPA is 2.83 and i am currently taking 15.5 units this semester.

Thank you
