This is my final year at CC since i'm applying to transfer with TAG this fall. I've finished with all of my required IGETC classes and am basically taking elective classes, PE, Piano, etc. I know I actually have to attend a CCC during my final year, but is there a minimum number of classes/units I have to take? I don't plan on taking one 3 unit class, but I was sort of thinking of taking 3 maybe 2 classes at most you know? Want to keep my GPA above a 3.0 while taking "fun" not-hard classes basically.

To my knowledge, as long as you have 30 semester units by the TAG deadline, and 60 semester units by the end of your last spring semester, you should be fine. Take as little or as many units as you want. Some people work full-time while balancing school, and they often have a very small workload, so I think you’re fine if you meet the requirements by the time of transfer.

I agree with Koreo. As long as you have completed all of your major pre-reqs, 60 transferable units, math and english reqs by this fall, and 30 transferable units by now you should be alright.

Enjoy your last semester at a CCC

I keep seeing that TAGs require full time status. Are you sure they don’t?

Edit: Nevermind! That only applies to UC Davis.

um. try merced. i think they accept unites. :)

Merced accepts anything with a pulse. :)

I don’t really care though, the campus looks a lot nicer than Davis and while it’s in a remote location, so are a lot of UCs. The important thing is the teachers they hire, and due to the remote location I’m not so sure about that lol.
