I am a new transfer student and am looking for housing for this coming fall semester. There seem to be a lot of housing options for students, and I'm not sure of the best locations.

I will be a junior but I was forced to take a few years off before I could come back to finish my degree, so I am a bit older than most of the other undergrads. I was wondering if anyone could tell me which areas are usually populated by more upperclassmen or graduate students? I am fine with parties on weekends, but I would like the weeknights to be reasonably quiet. I also would prefer to live close to the downtown campus, since I think I will probably have more classes there. Is this at all reasonable?

i will be a sophomore in the fall and am living at the domain, which is kind of an upscale apartment complex about 2 miles off campus. from my understanding its a pretty good mix of undergrad students, but probably not a lot of older students. From personal experience id say youll run into more older students at the west run or copper beech complexes, also a few miles off campus. Theres plenty of individually owned places downtown too, but they probably arent available this close to the fall

Some good apartments right near campus is mountaineer place, grant street is close but it can get crazy even during the week, and downtown but those are all pretty loud places as well. But they are all within walking distance of the downtown campus but if it gets loud during the week most people go to the library like me which is available on both campus as well. If your looking for quiet evansdale campus might be good because then you can just take the prt or bus to the downtown campus.
