<p>I hope so. I think it is harder on the parents than you students! You are so involved in trying to finish up this semester--we just obsess ---I'll be glad to know for sure where son will be next year. Good luck with the rest of your semester and the transfer!</p>
<p>Thanks for your good wishes - good luck to your son as well! My courses this semester have been no cake walk, so I've been really busy. Since I've submitted my transfer application, I've sorted out some benefits of staying where I am for undergrad, so no matter if I don't get the transfer acceptance. It's probably a defense mechanism, but at least I won't be too disappointed if I'm here for the next 2 years.</p>
<p>That's a good attitude. My son has become more determined than before to make the move. He says that if not accepted, he is still moving to Chapel Hill and will go part-time and apply again. Don't know if that is a "good" choice, but he really wants a change. Let's just hope the acceptances come through.</p>
