That sucks…

I know this is an old thread, but it seems to get alot of good experienced answers. I got accepted for the spring 2011 semester at UCF last week and Im looking for off campus housing. Does anyone know which complexes offer academic year agreements (spring & fall) or short leases, as i have an internship over the summer and do not want to be stuck paying rent for an apartment im not using? Im looking at all the complexes close to school: Edge, Northgate Lakes, Boardwalk, Riverwind, Campus Crossings, Gatherings, Lofts. I care about price, not really safety (sounds bad but whatever, I dont have the luxury to be picky). Thanks for any help.

I don’t know about that but I thought I would suggest that you look at the off campus housing website and craigslist. Maybe you can find a sublet from someone is is spending Spring semester abroad?

Do any nearby apartments allow small pets?

No. You should call around and see which places allow service pets, then find an excuse to register your pet as a service pet(ex. a dog for anxiety attacks). I know a few people that have done this.

There are seriously NO apartments that allow any pets? D: I need a place that will allow my Fennec Fox. I’m not sure what services he could be signed up for…

3/3 Apartment looking for female roommate!
3/3 Apartment. Looking for a female to take over my lease at Alafaya Village Club, starting SPRING semester through summer. My bedroom is room A on the diagram off the website for a 3/3; its the biggest room of the three. $589 a month includes utilities. The apartment is really nice and I would continue living here if it weren’t for me switching to USF. My roommates: Both female, ones 18(freshman), the other 19(sophomore) go to Valencia, easy-going, clean/neat, like to have fun and go out but are respectful, sweet girls. Alafaya Village Club: Safe, pool &deck, tanning bed, provide computer/internet access, gym, washer/dryer in apartment, built on a preserve(scenery), haven’t had any major issues with noise or the establishments management, have not had any extra charges for utilities(because my roommates are on top of the A/C and monitoring it to a perfect temperature, also unplugging things and turning off lights), friendly and helpful staff, UCF shuttle picks up/drops off directly at Alafaya Village Club and if you aren’t looking to continue the lease until summer they have a relet option. Overall the apartment, complex and roommates are great.
