Off Camus Housing

So yeah. I applied, got waitlisted, & now I guess I'm blinn teamed. A little shocked & upset but I'll get over it. Now i'm looking for housing. We've looked at the cambridge, the tradition, & the callaway. Does anyone live at these places & can tell me about prices? We're calling the places tomorrow to get facts but we were looking at the prices on the websites & they didn't seem bad at all. But I wanted to make sure we were reading it right.
We were looking at a double occupancy efficiency room which is $7,800 in a single installment & $834 in ten installments. Is that for each of the two roomates or would you cut that in half?
& which dorm would be better for someone traveling to A&M & blinn?

Yeah, I’m on the same boat! I can’t believe I’m considering a community college because I want to go to A&M that badly…

Y’all should be proud of yourselves  Blinn TEAM is just a way to get you adjusted to college level courses! It’ll be nice having smaller classes at Blinn, but you are still a full A&M student :)

AggieSister- Aw, thank you. Do you think my AP credits will still transfer over? I have like…7 of them…

AP Credits will probably count at Blinn more than at A&M, so get the credit and transfer it in to A&M.

Yeah its kinda hard to accept a community college when you have been accepted to other universities. But my heart is set on A&M so i guess I have to do whatever it takes to get there…

If you are doing Blinn Team and taking classes on both A&M and Blinn Campus, you want to find housing that is on Route 12 for the aggie shuttle bus. Route 12 is the one route that goes to Blinn Campus. Other living locations around College Station may say they are on the shuttle bus route but there are many, many routes. You would not want to have to ride the bus to A&M campus to catch the bus that goes to Blinn Campus.

My son lives at the Traditions and has decided to live there again next year. He attends Blinn. Our daughter will be a freshman at A&M and will be living on campus on the Northside. It will be nice to have both kids in the same town basically living across the street from each other. As for cost, there isn’t much difference between the two. If compared to apartment living compared to an off campus resident hall, you can find more expensive apartments as well as less expensive. You really need to just to check out the locations.

Good luck!
