Decisions, decisions...

Well, I'm now accepted. Off the waitlist obviously. I also have the Blinn Team option. They told me I had a good chance to transfer out of Blinn in a year, with summer classes. Half-tuition. Very tempting.
The scholarships I got aren't much. Too hard to get substantial ones.
Has anyone been accepted to the Blinn Team yet, I feel like I'm the only one.
So should I risk Blinn or go straight in to A&M?

I'm not going to base my decision based solely off your advice. I just want to know what you guys would do in my situation

Could you clarify your reasoning? I guess I don’t understand why it would even be a consideration to go to Blinn if you can go right into A&M. If your goal is to go to A&M, why would you consider not taking the direct route that is available to you? Is cost an issue?

Yes it is. My sister graduated a year ago. She got her masters in marketing. My brother will be a senior in two years and is on top of his class and most likely going to an ivy college or Rice. So, my parents and I are exploring if I should just get two years half-tuition and have some classes at Blinn.

Congratulations on being accepted to A&M!

Do you live in the Bryan/College Station area? If you don’t and have to get an apartment plus pay all the living expenses, the cost savings would not be that great.
If you were my child, I would tell you to go to A&M freshman year.

I would say go to A&M! If you do Blinn TEAM and for some reason don’t make your grades, there is not a guarantee they’ll let you continue at A&M after the 2 years of Blinn TEAM! Congrats on getting in!!
