Was that an answer choice? Do you remember what you put?

I’m pretty sure I put ‘including’

Maybe that’s what you meant. I just saw ‘for that’ and thought that was part of an answer choice.

That’s what I said

Oh no I meant I put “including” for that

Hmm…I feel somewhat more confident about my answers now

I put “includes” was that one of the answer choices??

The reason they decided to let ”including sleeping” be the correct answer is because many test takers would likely disregard two gerunds in a row as being correct. However, this combination is correct.

Sent from my HTC Glacier using CC

Oh man… I got that one wrong

there was one question that had may be vs maybe. I put may be. anyone else?

Omaha7878 I put may be

Did we say that the car sharing program in the bike share passage was off-topic or not? Because I distinctly remember the last paragraph talking about the future of bike-sharing (like GPS and Wifi) and I thought that it was helpful information because the first paragraph mentioned how cities were improving their transportation…

it’s off topic I think.

If I were to ask you what the main topic of the essay was, you probably wouldn’t say that it was about cities improving transporation, you would say that it’s about bike transportation and the advantages that it offers. Ultimately, introducing some new information IN THE CONCLUSION is just irrelevant and unorganized and should never be done. If it was added in the middle, I feel like it could make more sense and be debatable.

So I’m looking to buy the “Red Book” everybody is talking about to prep for ACT. Can somebody give me a link to the right one? I’m not sure which book it is, and also if there’s any other books you guys recommend to prep please reply with those too

was one of the answers changing the word to enhance or was it adorn?

Was that the one with augment? Or was that another one?

It was augment I believe.

What was the one with adorn?

General consensus was augment. Choices were no change (adorn), augment, elaborate, and something else. Augment was the only one that made sense in the context of the passage.

for the would this be a good story about how she became an astronaut or whatever, i ended up saying yes. i spent a good 2 mins on this question (if not more) and while at first I immediately crossed off the yes answers (because after reading the passage it seemed far-fetched), I decided that the no answers had incorrect explanations and then read the yes explanations and one of them made more sense. Anyone remember what the yes explanations were? I don’t. All I can remember is that I said yes, after much deliberation.
