I'm planning on leaving Penn State
Majoring in chem E + math

I'm looking into Harvard, U penn.....i probably wont apply to any other schools. The applications are so expensive- like $70? W T F is up with that? I get so angry just thinking about the application fees.I'm going to apply and they can go fu ck themselves if they 1)reject me or 2) accept me but offer me crappy financial aid.

P.S--GOOD LUCK!......some very good schools on your list.

Current School: Rutgers University - New Brunswick
Major: Economics
Applying as a transfer to: UPenn

I applied as a transfer this year and got rejected. I also applied to like 10 other schools, but honestly none of them are worth it. I'm only gonna apply to one school this year. I'll be busy with everything else as it is. No need to spend all that extra time and money on applications to schools I wouldn't even consider going to.

Current School: Little community college in Houston, Texas
Major: Economics (or Business Administration depending on school)
Applying to: BU, Brown, Columbia, Cornell, Emory, Georgetown, Harvard (maybe), NYU, Northwestern, Chicago, UTAustin, UPenn, Yale (maybe).

Yeah I'm not leaving anything out. I am confident about BU, UT, Georgetown, Northwestern and all of the rest are reaches - so I'll be gettin outta here for sure.

Chicago (the city) is awesome - I app'd Loyola, Chicago, and Northwestern. PM me if you have any questions about Chicago app/Loyola app/chances/etc.

just wondering neverborn...i thought i had seen that you had awesome stats (high GPA, test scores) on another board. What did you get rejected by Chicago with?

They came to my cc and I was really sold by the rep...but the downside to that school is it's not in a big ciry or near a big city and I am a city girl...(I'm from chicago) So I should put maybe by that one.

Current School: CCC/(de anza, foothill)
Major: Biz/Engineering/(econ as backup if no biz)
Applying as a transfer to: UCB(Haas),UCLA,UCSD,USC,NYU,Penn

that's pretty much it. i cant believe its our turn already...

Not very many great finance-related opportunities. I hope to work for a American financial company in China in the future, and there simply aren't any companies recruiting for those types of jobs/internships at UC Davis.

I hope you go to Cal. haha, I'm not sure why...my prejudices are just seeping through. But from the looks of it, it looks like Cal is a safety or a match on your list. Best of wishes in your app process, Cardinal...

current university: university of melbourne (australia)
current major: double major EE/Physics

i have yet to decide which major i want to pursue when i transfer. i am going to apply to harvey mudd, rice, cornell, umich. if i decide to pursue physics i will add uchicago to the list, and if i choose to do EE, i will add columbia (fu) to the list. my list may change, but this is the general idea i can think of right now.

im considering transferring but i havent started school yet. i will be a freshman at xavier u next year and majoring in psych pre med and spanish. if i decide that i like it i wont but i want to keep my options open.

i am considering:
uchicago
nyu
northwestern
davidson
bc

Current U: Arizona State
Major: English lit.
Schools: USC, UCB, UCLA, UCSD, Pepperdine

I am studying for the SAT this summer and if my scores are decent I will apply to: Rice, UChicago, Northwestern, Georgetown, Cornell, Columbia (GS)
