<p>Actually, for California freshmen, it was <43%… about where UCSD was two years ago. Ouch.</p>

<p>I’m guessing overall (+OOS and INT) I think is below the 50%</p>
<p>I don’t think UC Irvine has deliberately rejected “overqualified” applicants purely because they were overqualified considering the average weight GPA of those accepted are 4.01 compared to 3.95 last year along with higher SAT scores.</p>
