<p>omg i just saw the title of this thread and started freaking out because i thought people had found out already...can we all relax a little we still have at least a week!</p>

<p>haha yeah my first decision too...so nervous...i go to such a competitive hs...im so worried.</p>

<p>Yeah...does anyone know if we are compared directly against other applicants from our school or if we are reviewed the same against everyone as with our classmates?</p>

<p>i dont think that they technically say anything about comparing students from the same school but i have a strong feeling that they do. i'm not positive but i know a lot of girls from my school who probably should have gotten in but didn't because such a huge number of girls from our school applied while people got in before them from other schools who may not have been as qualified. obviously thats not concrete evidence at all but that's just what i have heard?</p>

<p>when a BC rep visited my school, they said that they do not compare students from the same school. that is their official stance on the issue, but it doesn't necesarily mean their is no comparison.</p>

<p>i heard of a friend of a friend who said they got the letter and got deffered, cant verify the validity but it seems pretty good</p>

<p>I was looking at the BC website undergraduate admissions page...and they posted this message.</p>

<p>"Please note: Invitations to interview for the Presidential Scholars Program will be mailed under separate cover the week of December 18th."</p>

<p>i dont know if it means anything about when to expect regular letters.</p>
