[li] going to attend? if I had been accepted[/li][/ul]Other Factors:

i have no idea why it came out like that...oh well...time to go work on other apps....

oh yeah...I posted those numbers and I got them directly off the Boston College web site....they said 33/33/33...they also said thats just an approximation and that 20% of the those deferees get in.

where on the BC website does it say the 33/33/33 thing? if that's true, that'd be cool...i might still have a decent shot..

hmm i looked and i seems theyve changed the site around over the past week or two...it used to be stated right there under FAQs right before the part where it says the 20% but i guess they took that out of there...it seems like they've redone alot on their site...

i got deferred, as did my friends who I would guess are above the avg accepted person in terms of sats, high school courses and grades, and possibly activity stuff. i was a bit surprised and disappointed, but i've heard from an inside source bc is more selective and conservative ea- they sometimes defer people who they think are considering other colleges. honestly, this describes my friends and I. plus lots and lots of people from our school applied ea- white, nj, upper-ish class most of them. i hope someone who really really wanted bc got in where I might have.

theres a facebook group alreadyyyy lol

3 ppl applied from my school....2 deferrals......one rejection

Decision: Accepted!

Location/Person:
State or Country: PA
School Type: private all-girls catholic-competitive
Ethnicity: white
Gender: female
major strength/weakness: weakness- rank, although my school is really competitive
why you think you were accepted/rejected/defered: a ton of girls from my school applied, so if they compared me to them then it might explain the deferral
going to attend? if i get in RD, definitely
Other Factors: i'm really sad, i'm not going to be able to wear my BC sweatshirt until i hear again in march.

SerraPadre07--Yeah, I agree! But congrats Silver12065 anyway.

Does anyone think that if some people who got EA acceptance letters don't enroll that it will make that "20% of deferrals accepted in RD" figure go up to maintain yield rates? Or is it just 20% no matter what?

^^yea i want 2 know that 2

prob not. they prob already figured that some people won't enroll

did anyone get rejected?...do they reject ppl EA?
