Morethansunshine - Berkeley is only slightly better than UCLA in academics. It’s a negligible difference, and really doesn’t matter for undergrad. For undergrad you should pick the campus at which you would feel most comfortable, and then try to get into the best post grad program you can, which might not be either UCLA or Berk. Assuming you intend to continue toward an advanced degree.

djatucla… if you have kids, then Berkeley has a fantastic F/A program, the parent grant gives you an extra 6,000 a year free money, in addition to that you can automatically take reduced course loads & it doesn’t effect your F/A…are you sure you would rather go to UCLA?

any word on ilivefree or others from the berkeley page.

damn it, are you guys trying to make this harder on me

that sounds really good about the FA. especially how I can reduce my course load and have it not affect how much I’m getting. I’ll have to really think on this now. Especially since I submitted my SIR at UCLA and they say I won’t be able to change my mind if I take it back. Suckage.

I mean, spring 2010…

does berkeley really care if you have UCLA’s TAP?

congrats everyone!
but I have only seen a few of biosci majors…
anyone got into Molecular Toxicology? Or the majors under the college of natural resources? post your stats please! I’d like to know!^^
