I’m from CA and I mailed mine in on 04/10, it updated 04/13

I meant receive decision, so it would be 4/27 correct?

haha i meant they received my app on 04/13, but yes it updated 04/27

Does anyone know when the next rounds of decisions will come out?

Ahhh! I got in for fall! And for a science major too! How the heck did this happen! I just went from getting into none of the UC last year to ALL of them this year! W,T,F

Got in!! so excited ^____^ I havent been able to create a cal net id yet either. Anyone?

Noo it won’t let me make my Cal Net ID either. I guess we should wait until they update their data.

I found out today that after all of my hard work and dedication, I didn’t get into Haas. I am completely shocked and feel like there was some sort of mistake. I have a 4.0, over 8 years of business related work experience and with all of this, I am a father to an infant. I completed all of the requirements including the breadth requirement which was disregarded this year. I am a US citizen, California resident and transferring from a Ca CC so assuming this gives priority, I am in disbelief. I got accepted to UCLA and UCSD, but I was depending on Haas. Has anyone got accepted after appealing? Any suggestions any of you have? I would really appreciate it.

My appeal is still under review. I am appealing for EECS in CoE but also requested for consideration for CS in L&S. California resident.

OMG.
just checked the portal… and I GOT IN !!! YAYAYAY.
ahhhh can’t believe this  !!!

Anyone know why the decisions are split up like this?

Btw… For those of you who got in, what were your reasons for appealing?

i called up an admissions officer and was told that (at least for engineering,) the individual department will review the appeals. that might be part of the reason for the staggering.

the lady on the line also told me that appeals aren’t read unless the wait-list is exhausted. no idea how true that is; hopefully it isn’t!

That is obviously a lie… because people in the waitlist havent been chosen yet and they are already giving out the results so… she lied to you

I’m a transfer applicant myself, and am strongly considering appealing the denial. While I do have a mixed set of grades, my performance at my current CC has been quite strong for the past two years—I had a hard time at my first college because of several extenuating circumstances, including anti-queer harassment, unaddressed learning difficulties, and other issues that caused my work to not be reflective of the student I am today. There’s also a five-year gap between the two colleges I attended.

(If that doesn’t work out, I’ve got acceptances to UC Davis and UC Santa Cruz, so I’ll go to one of those.)

I’m in for fall 2012! Sorry to those who didn’t make it and congrats to those who did!

@scarlet8
When did you get your decision? :o Mine’s still pending :x

all those who got in, are you all californian residents? Although I understand that they prioritize admissions to californian residents, I’m still trying to understand why I was rejected. McGill saw something in me, but it seemed as though Berkeley doesn’t.
Right now, I’m planning on studying at McGill for 2 years, collect over 60 uc credits and then try to transfer. Berkeley did recommend me to go to a californian community college but I really see no reason why I should.
Can those who got accepted via appeal msg me what they had on their appeals? I want to see what I may have done wrong. Is it my marks/lack of E.C.s/ or personality that they did not “like”?
So much for going back to the states.
and congrats scarlet!

my appeal is still reviewing… :frowning: I really hope that I can get into UCB.
