Oh I forgot about the monarchs. I did that but I forgot the name of the monarchs and I was running out of time so I just said ‘‘Empress of Russia’’ and ‘‘Sun King’’ - I did know Frederick II of Prussia, though.

How do you guys think the curve will be? OTL

Was classical liberalism an answer to the optimistic rationality one?

@yankees7210 That is the answer that I put

Also, is there a general consensus for the Machiavelli one? Hereditary or antithesis?

OP here!! I haven’t been on this website for ages but I figured now’s as good a time as any to get back into it oops.

That multiple choice screwed me over. I took seven practice tests and none of them prepared me for all of those obscure, picky questions. I was expecting so much more on the French Revolution, WWI/WWII, etc.

Anyways, I chose the hereditary answer for the Machiavelli question.

Also, who the heck were Janissaries? or Zwingli? I’ve never heard of the former, and the latter I hadn’t even seen until I started reviewing. And even then I just glanced over it. Ugh.

P.S. I just requested access into the google doc. It’d be awesome if you could add me. :)

I am not saying a question college board but I do know the Janissaries were Christian boys turned Muslim soldiers.

Dang. I had no clue. I’m literally just praying for a good curve this year lol

The secret to the MCQs is to eliminate answers using logic and knowledge. Then using debate and argument to choose the one that is MOST CORRECT.

That’s what I tried to do but judging by that Google doc it didn’t help much! Ah whatever, I’ll be happy with a 2at this point. I’m just glad I took it and got the experience so I can apply it next year.

What did you guys get for the MC about the German Protestant princes policies of religious toleration after the Treaty of Augsburgs (or Westphalia I can’t remember)?

i put tolerant of erry1 compared to catholics.
i’m pretty sure i got it wrong though.

now that i think about it, it seems more like they were equally tolerant post treaty of ausburg, given the his land his religion ordeal.

Pretty sure it was just as discriminatory. Augsburg only recognized Lutherans. Anabaptists etc not particularly well liked. The question wanted to see if you would fall for the obvious answer.

Was there a question about Heliocentricism?

@SgtGutter yeah, I think the answer was copernicus?

wasn’t it a quote though?

I thought the quote attacked heliocentricism

^it probably was. Ive forgotten the specifics of most questions

Around two more weeks until scores are released! I’m so anxious to see what I got.
