O.O

But it says “who have accepted admission” not necessarily “who have BEEN accepted”

O.O

But it says “who have accepted admission” not necessarily “who have BEEN accepted”

It might not mean anything though because I read (non-rewenable applicants) so maybe thats different…
Maybe this year they allowed it to be open to prospective students… who knows.

So if this application is “non-renewable,” doesn’t that mean we wouldn’t be able to renew or restart our housing application? If that is true, it seems wrong to give random applicants access to the NYU housing portal: What if they “accidentally” paid a deposit on housing? If it’s non-renewable, did NYU just steal money from an applicant that was rejected?

Right?

@angelbeats it takes me to the housing application. Some of my data is prefilled already, some of it has to be filled out by me.

@wellletshope I accessed to the ten sessions housing application somewhere else, but I couldn’t find it now. Interesting I cannot get to the housing application by pressing that green button.

@greengecko I did try to access this page like 20 days ago and it wouldn’t let me.The arrow just kept going around in circles. Maybe it won’t let us finish the application…

Is someone brave enough to complete the application and find out?? haha

@filmschoolgirl Same as me. The arrow keeps going circles. Can you access to the application now?

@angelbeats Yes, I can access it now. It might just be the computer you are on. I was on a school computer the last time I tried to do it. Don’t worry, I doubt this access means much.

A proposal to better our life: I’ve seen ppl going crazy about “signs of admission”. For the sake of our sanity can we please don’t go down that rabbit hole? Take a step back and consider this: Do you want to be the guy holding up a (digital) cardboard sign talking about signs? Yeah, me neither!

Just curious, any History majors in here? For a second it crossed my mind to apply to NYU but being from LA, I had to apply to UCLA, which I did, and was admitted. Got in with a 3.83 GPA, I am just curious to see the figures for History majors were at NYU.

@Tik1127 I’m a History major! My GPA is 3.68 and yours is making me slightly nervous. But I’m applying to NYU’s Political Science department.

@rabbitsaregreat

Oh, you don’t have to worry, I did not apply to NYU, I did not want to pick up from LA to move to NYC, at least not for my undergrad. But good luck, I do hope you get in. When will NYU give you your answer?

This was UCLA’s numbers for those that were admitted for the Fall of 2013.

https://www.admissions.ucla.edu/prospect/adm_tr/Tr_Prof13_mjr.htm

From my understanding, it is slightly easier to get into NYU than UCLA. Once again, best of luck!

I just found my NYU email address. Is it possible to have a NYU email address if you haven’t been accepted yet?

@alliswell123 How did you stumble upon that?

delete

Guys relax!

The following paragraph is from the admissions dean. The old man has a point, you know:

“Each year, those of us on the admission committee are thoroughly entertained by posts we read online from students (and oddly enough, parents) who believe they have located evidence of their admission decision somewhere online. They are wasting oh so much time that could be better spent. Admission decisions simply are not available anywhere on our website. Period.”

<a href=“MEET NYU - Home”>MEET NYU - Home;

@Tik1127 thanks! hopefully some of your luck has been passed to me HAHA. Well, the website says “through the month of May” so I will have to wait and see.

UCLA’s numbers for History is pretty high! But I’m sure you will do well there

I think everyone can log in the housing system

I tried filling out the entire APP and it let me. What could this mean??
