***Official 2015 June SAT (US Only) THREAD***

The refrigerator one was either Choice D or E.

@aznboi4981 I don’t think there were 8 plastics…

for the refrigerator, what we decide? is it disproving something unfamiliar with familiar?

*discribing

@aznboi4981 There were 3 plastics, 2 steel, and 8 of something else.

The math question with pattern something like 2,4,2 which we had to subtract the previous number was 2? do it was B?

@Chrysanthemum14 That is where I went wrong! UGH! Was that in Section 8? That is why! I skipped it initially and then in the 5 minutes I went back and rushed to try to solve it! UGH

3 + 2 = 5. (5)(.8)=4 and (4)(1000)= 4000.

Yeah I think I put describing a method that was unfamiliar and replacing it with something that was familiar for the refrigerator. (Choice E).

@388854239ewr

The pattern was -6, -8, 2, 6, 8, -2…

The answer (57th term) was 2.

Did anyone get a passage with a guy named Henry and how he wanted to buy a “Lamb House” in Rye?

Did anyone get for the Spanish poet answers

  1. Unique to the spanish language
  2. Incongruity with his works (or something like that, but i remember incongruity)

So what was the answer to the plastic and steel problem? I remember getting 4000. But i do not remember how.

the refrigerator one was clarifying an unfamiliar process by comparing it to something familiar.

I was asking about one where they were like what did these two explorers think of the natives’ theory that the statues walked.

@Chrysanthemum14 how was the tone/style of the spanish poet described?

@Q7heng
Yes I remember having those answers.

@blippy1997
must have been experimenta

There were 3 plastics and 2 steel if I remember correctly.

Experimental was CR for me - some weird passage with graphs about land and sea snakes. Pretty sure I aced it - finished it in under half the time, not that it counts for anything.

Bombed the essay - got three paragraphs and a 1.5 sentence conclusion - pretty sure I’ll get a 5-6. Did use some pretty advanced vocab though. Prompt was something about conflicting loyalties.

for the experiment reading with weaving wat was the long passage for it
it had a graph in it thats y i thought it was experimental

@Chrysanthemum14 yes, thank god, I’m at anywhere between -3 to -5 now on CR, only reason I’m taking this

also, did the answers for one of the spansish poet question have the word “overlooked” in it?
