<p>I was about to add my name, but it’s already there! 
I actually ‘applied’ via Questbridge, which is basically like ED, so I’ll find out on the 1st – this Wed, ahh! I’ll let you guys know what happens then, but even if I don’t get the scholarship, Williams will let me ‘reapply’ ED even though it’s past the deadline. The wait is driving me crazy…</p>
<p>By the way – is anyone else not a superstar applicant? I mean, half of the grades on my transcript are Bs (though for Honors/AP classes), and I’m not ranked in the top 10 in my class, and I have a decent but not a ‘wow’ amount of ECs. I’m super jealous of the perfect GPA, leadership galore, valedictorian/salutatorian people who seem to be everywhere on CC </p>
<p>And what does everyone like the most about Williams? For me, it’s the small community environment, which is so much like my high school now – I love that I would get to know practically everyone by the end of four years. I also like the ‘academic yet laidback’ quality – I met with an admissions person at my school once, and she mentioned how talking about grades and scores was basically ‘taboo’. I’ve never been comfortable comparing my academics with others, mainly because I don’t like the whole “oh, I need to beat them on this test or in this class” mentality that my classmates have. So hopefully I’ll be able to escape that in Williams! :)</p>
<p>I’m there with you, Arydesia, there’s a B or two for every year on my transcript, but they’re in AP classes and one honors class freshmen year. I’m not TOO worried about that though because I think Williams looks at a lot of other things besides grades, plus I know a current Williams student that had C’s on her high school transcript. As for extra curriculars, I think they would prefer that you are involved or passionate about a few.</p>

<p>I was just saying hoping for an earlier notification because I suppose (in theory) it’s possible? Do you think they will email us soon to tell us when and how to actually check our admissions decision?</p>
<p>I just e-mailed the admissions office and they said that they will send a letter and an e-mail between the second and third week of December.</p>
