“you will get a decision in 4-6 weeks” <-ok

Hey guys, I was accepted to American April 5th which was about a week after I applied… just wondering if anyone who’s been accepted has heard from the financial aid office? I have yet to receive any information regarding financial aid.

hey @ana2903 financial aid will only come in around mid May.

Anyone knows whether this → “A preliminary review of your transcript suggests that 75credits are eligible to transfer to American University”. means that its honoring 75 credits? I need to know so I know whether or not I should even make my housing deposit cos students w more than 36credits arent guaranteed housing.

Hey all,

Sent in my application end of March/beginning of Apr can’t remember. Got an acceptance packet in mail that said 60/62 credits would be valid. I got the letter like literally 2 days after I sent in application. No financial aid materials at all.

@auaudrey I grew up in DC and went to school near AU. I don’t know anything about the dorms (and probably won’t live on campus). I will say the surrounding area by AU is VERY residential. It’s still in DC proper but it’s way in the upper NW quadrant of the city. It’s close enough to redline though so you definitely can access the rest of the city. The campus is pretty traditional and most of the building are newer.
