i <3 zumdahl

The rate of the slowest step is always equal to the overall rate of the reaction. Just by looking at it, you could deduce that it is Mechanism A because it is the only mechanism with NO2 in it.

Hope that helps

oh man our school using Zumdahl too

he can be so archaic at times with his crazy amount of theoretical information
however, if you have a physics background you can actually sometimes understand what he’s saying
I personally have stopped reading the book because he just confuses me when he gets ultra verbose. Right now we’ve just started Chp. 13 equilibrium and its not bad…yet

oh man I loved rate law problems! it was all just math and none of that fancy conceptual crap

Does anyone have any Released AP Chemistry exams other than the ones that are on the collegeboard website. My Chemistry teacher has them all the way from 1970!

We used Zumdahl as well. To say the least the first few months were hell. I didn’t understand anything but then my friend showed me this program for the TI89 called Chemistry Made Easy. It might not have made Chemistry “easy” but it helped me bring my grade up from a C to a B+.
I really recommend checking it out on the ■■■■■■■■ site.

Then why don’t you get it from her?

I used that same program as chemwiz and it really does help.
It does everything from balancing equations to stoichiometry- and all you have to do is plug in the data from the question.

anyone know if there is a ap chem cram packet?

I’m using Brown’s Chemistry: The Central Science book. I’ve heard this book prepares well, but I’m a little anxious from now. Have you guys started studying for the actual AP exam yet? I know last year for Bio, I was studying by now, but this year with college apps etc. I havent yet.

I started studying about a month ago.

Hey guys so far our class is using the Brown textbook after a district decision to switch from the Zumadahl book. To sum it up my teacher sucks at teaching and I’ve had to learn a lot from the book and I’m assuming we are really behind because we haven’t even done kinetics or equilibrium yet.

Hi. I am going to be taking AP Chemistry next year. Several people said that they downloaded the “Chemistry Made Easy” Flash App for their TI-89. I was wondering if it is any better than this program:

[Alchemistry - ticalc.org](Alchemistry - ticalc.org)

I have been using this program this year in Chemistry and it has done everything for me. Are there any signifiant differences between these two programs? Thanks!

BTW, princeton review is great for kinetics.

We are behind, and we are about three chapters ahead of you at this point. We are using the Brown textbook as well. You are in a pretty tough situation.
