Anyone do FRQ #5?

Probably the worst AP exam I’ve taken! 5 on Human Geo, 4 on AP US… and Calc and Physics 1 was a lot easier than this exam. Honestly, expecting a 3. Just made a lot of careless errors on MC and went off topic on a FRQ. I guess I will see.

One of the FRQ’s I did was #7 (how philosophical and scientific developments affected religion) and it wasn’t until I was almost finished that I looked at the date on the prompt (until 1750) and realized I had to start from scratch because I had written about Darwin and Freud. facepalm

Thankfully I finished that FRQ within around 20 minutes and had about 15 minutes to write about Napoleon and the French Revolution. Kind of bs’ed it.

For the DBQ I’m not sure if I did my groupings right, can someone give their opinion?

  1. Against globalization/immigration (b/c it would hurt France’s national identity)
  2. For globalization (it is a natural process of creating a common culture)
  3. People who thought France should accomodate to globalization and immigration

@rissanicole14 I did the same groups so I think it is fine. I was really worried about my groups too. Most people I talked to said they thought the dbq was really easy and I had a hard time grouping but since our groups are about the same I think we’re good! :slight_smile:

@specialsnowflake that’s good to hear!! thanks!

Not talking about specific questions…
What do you all think you got on the MC?
(Score out of 80)

like…40

@zzztttwww same

At least 60

Trevor Packer posted this on Twitter last week:

"Great work from AP Euro History teachers/students, who improved the %3-5 in an AP course esp valued by many selective admissions offices.

2015 AP European History scores: 5: 10.3%; 4: 17.4%; 3: 35.6%; 2: 10.6%; 1: 26.1%. These may shift slightly as late exams are scored.

Multiple-choice: AP Euro History students did significantly better on earlier (Renaissance to 1815) than more recent (1816-present) topics.

Many AP Euro History students did well on what some thought would be a tough DBQ topic: French changes since 1960.

And the AP History most valued by the 20% of admissions offices that have a preference is…AP European History, far more than US or World."

Dang guys only about two weeks till we get scores back. I’m peeing myself rn.

^Actually, it’s only 1 week #:-S

@AlphaDragon depends on your location. Its about 10 days for me. Might be less for you if you’re closer to the east coast.

Just got my score! I got a 5! Really happy with how I did! My hard work paid off! :smiley: How did you guys do?

Congrats! Haven’t checked my score yet but I can’t get credit for this class anyway so not too worried haha.

That’s amazing!! Good job.
Unfortunately I’m from California so I guess I’m waiting until Friday :frowning:

@specialsnowflake great job. You’re so lucky
Living in the east coast lol. Gotta wait 4 more days.

@Waldoizhere Isn’t east coast today?

SO happy/relieved, got a 5 (on both euro and bio :D)!

@zenith99 said she was lucky because she was living in the east coast. Sorry for bad wording.
