Easiest AP ever

LOL… I must’ve been really really bad at Human Geography freshman year!

Doing a released MC test and looking at this year’s ridiculously easy / BS-able FR, I think I can get a 5 having not touched the class for 3 years even though I got a 3 as a freshman.

I think I got 3-4 on it

Idk how scoring works tho since I’m a freshman

The multiple choice wasn’t that bad. The first FRQ was difficult for me but the others were so easy! My main concern is my handwriting. Do you guys know if the curve is going to be harsh since everyone seems to have found the test to be easier than expected?

I took the APHG today - post-late testing. I was wondering, though, what is my score compared to? There can’t be that many people who took it today…

The Princeton Review is the way to go for this one

So all you lucky people who already know their scores (Texas problems :(), how did you all do? Hope it was amazing!

If you guys want to get your scores early but don’t live in the East coast…just do this https://twitter.com/Marshal_Knight/status/353219052828770304/photo/1

Got a 5.

Honestly not all that surprised - the FRQs this year were a total joke.

I just got my AP HG marks and unfortunately got a 3. I am 13 years old currently and answered 2 exams AP Macroeconomics and AP HG. Surprisingly, I got a better score in Macroeconomics which was a 4. I also did AP Psychology when I was 12 years old and scored a 5. Right now I am unsure whether to cancel the AP HG marks as it is generally supposed to be an easy AP (the truth is I did not study much for it and spent all my time on AP Macro as I did not find AP HG to be very interesting but found AP Macro very, very interesting). If I keep the score I will be able to get an AP Scholar award at 13 years old but should I cancel it because I got a 3 on the AP HG. My aim is to go into a science field in colleges such as MIT, Princeton,Stanford… So will this mark decrease my chances? Any advice would be much appreciated.

I just recently got my ap scores last night, and i am shocked to say the least. I received a 1. I don’t want to sound like I’m bragging, but I am just saying that I had a 98% in AP Human Geography, to show that I at least have SOME understanding of the class. I think that i may have made an error with my bubble sheet’s portion where we had to put our information. I am also thinking that I may have used a wrong pencil, or may have accidentally slashed the portion that said “do not write here”. I am just thinking of all the possibilities. I calculated using the test how many possible questions i could have gotten wrong (on mc at least) i would have gotten 35% wrong at max. I was pretty well prepared for my test. I think my frqs were pretty good. I just don’t think that it was possible to get a 1! I am planning to rescore. Have any of you gotten your tests restored before? What are other possibilities that could contribute to me getting a 1?

@zenoodle if your scores were wrongly scored, college board may have either forgotten to add your frq score to your mc score, or like you said your mc may have been scored wrongly. If you pay $25 to get your score re-scored, I think they will check your mc by hand and check if your frq score has been added. They will not rescore your frqs. There are couple other threads that talk more about the whole rescoring process if you want to check it out. My friend took this test a couple years ago and got a 2. She re-scored and ended up with a 4 (they didn’t add her frqs in) I don’t know if this is the same with all the cases but I hope it works out for you!

If you felt you were well prepared, definitely rescore. Unfortunately, CB messes up more often than you may think. They may have not added the grade from one of your sections because you can get a 1 just from writing your name. And as far as the pencils, they tell you to use #2 so that it’s dark, but if you use a pencil that’s just as dark as a #2, the bubbles will still be clearly visible and your exam can still be scored.

i got a 5.

I haven’t gotten my AP scores yet, my score is delayed (Code 93). Anyone else with the same dilemma? Does anyone know when I’ll be able to access my scores? Please reply!

Highly recommend the Princeton Review and 5 Steps to a 5 review books along with Kaplan’s Vocabulary Flashcards. To those not taking the formal class, I just read the books and skimmed through some flashcards and received a 5. Easiest test ever.

fivecharm, do you think ap human geography is easy to selfstudy or an online course would be a better choice? i have to make up my mind by this week! if you could reply asap it would be great. also i was thinking of taking ap psychology as a selfstudy since im currently taking ib psychology yr2

What is the best book to use for self studying? Also does anybody want to study together? I know some of my friends study with people online, so it isn’t as distracting? Send me a message on my page if interested. I am also taking AP psych so if you want to study for that also.

Oh guys I totally forgot about this thread (new account… forgot password to old one… but w/e). Anyway the test was a joke lol. I did math homework in class (except for those few days when the teacher majorly PMS’d) and never bothered self-studying, yet guess who got a 5? Ahahaha maybe I was just lucky though. I guessed a lot of the questions.
