Official AP Physics C Thread

So I'm the first one to post here after the AP Physics C test haha
that test was very hard.
I'm not going to discuss the problems though.
After two days from now, I'll discuss the FR questions.
Good luck everyone with your remaining AP tests.

only took EM today cause i took newtonian last year. anyhoo, maybe it's that i don't care anymore or something but walking out of the exam room today, i thought the test was fairly easy. unlike last year, where my eyes were about to pop out of my sockets.

I only took the Mech. section, and I thought the multiple choice was okay. The free response is something else though... I thought it was MUCH HARDER than the 2004 free response questions. I think I can forget about getting a 5... I had been consistently getting low 5s on the practice tests, but I don't even know if I can get a 4 on this one.

The MECH was HARD! OMFG... no way i'm getting a 5.

Mech should have a good curve. If you look back at the average scores on the free response questions over the past few years, the average score on them has been going down.

yeah, that test made me want to die. of course, i did an independant study of it, so that didn't help. one of the FR topics was the one topic I hadn't covered yet and I definately didn't have enough time on the MC. Oh well, I'll be taking it in college anyhow.

Wow, I thought those FR were much easier than last year's (mech). I think I only messed up the very last part of question one (which was a really stupid mistake), and didn't do the last part of the last question becauase I was about to run out of time (question two took a while because I was off the first time), and it looked hard.

ohnoes

you must be a genius!

I thought the E&M was insanely easy. The mech was okay. Maybe this is because I have been cramming E&M for the past few days and neglecting Mech?

I also thought em was easy, though mech wasn't bad either. I certainly hope we still get a nice curve on e+m. I screwed up like half of the second FRQ on e+m, but I think I got the rest of the free response and missed at most like 2 or 3 MC. Hopefully I can still manage a 5.

Okay I'm calmed down by now, but mechanics was really hard. I really thought the past tests were way easier (I did 2001-2004) than this one. I'm hoping for more than half right and a good MC score too to secure a 5 but right now, I'm so damn unsure.

I thought the test was fairly hard, especially the Mech section. For me, the E and M was much easier than the mech.

The MC was much harder than the 1998 and especially the 1993. The FR for Mech was much harder than last year's (I agree). Somehow, I got a brain cramp on the third one and totally forgot how to do those types of problems, and before I could remember how, I ran out of time. However, I thought the EM FR section was easy. The 2nd and 3rd problems were pretty simple.

Man. The mechanics was really easy except for the free response questions. Wow. I'd be happy with a 4 after that blood-bath.

it was hard. like REALLY HARD.

i was feeling paranoid after taking the E&M and felt as if i had skipped an entire section. i didn't feel like i had to calculate anything.

Hmmm.... I don't know, the mechanics seemed pretty easy to me. They were all pretty straightforward - maybe not everything could be done in a completely robotic, formulaic way, but it certainly was close.

My only issue was on the free response E&M #2. I expect that it was a pretty easy problem for people who knew what it meant, but unfortunately I "self-studied" this course, and that "self-study" basically meant flipping through a book for about an hour last night and 15 minutes before the test this afternoon. As a result, my knowledge was... shall we say... incomplete.

lol, I'm still hoping for 5s, though. I think that I'm pretty secure on the mechanics, which is a much easier test for people (like me) who don't know anything.

yeah, i got owned by teh fr on the mechanics part. Around how many mc and fr do i need for a 4 or 5?

I thought the Mech was insanely easy but the E&M was slightly harder than I expected...

i got owned by both....ok...i think i can handle a 3....or a 2 its ok with me...:(

I would agree with some of you... The mc was doable however the fr was a massacre
