Since I predicted the APUSH frq correctly lmao i guess that it will be a 1 or 2 sample z test. There will also be an independence test and a probability question. THE LAW HAS BEEN WRITTEN
@APmaster007 To get a 5 all you need is 26 mc right and on the frqs four 2’s and two 3’s. You’ll do fine and in the worst case scenario we all get 3’s .
@Gatortristan
They never will ask about a 1 sample z test. I actually think it will be a two sample t test.
But that’s borderline to a 5, it simply could be a high 4.
The last practice test I’m going to take is the 2012 one. I hope I will score at leas 28 on the mc. I have the exam , but I couldn’t find “Percent answering correctly”.
The 2014 frqs seem really easy. I hope it would be the same for 2015.
I’m going to so happy when this is over on Wednesday. Not that AP Statistics is particularly difficult, but just because this AP test is so non-critical-thinking. This subject gives me no academic satisfaction.
This test is a calculator test (assuming nspire CAS). No skill needed.
For concept? lol what’s even that difficult?
How is everyone preparing for this?
Is the AP Statistics Crash Course book good? I have to cram all this in two days…
@DestinedWolf LOL go into the stats exam only knowing calculator functions and you will honestly get 0/4 for every single FRQ question. The frq’s are very strict about needing your work and how you got your anwer so no work=no points. For the MC part of the test a calculator is really handy though. @ajk456 my teacher prepared us throughout the year really well so I’m only brushing up on z tests and handy rules of thumb about distribution.
Is it true that the curve is going to be increased this yr because my teacher claims that he has “his sources”. In other words, is the AP Stats curve pre determined?
@ILDocter
It means that this years test (hopefully) is easy. AP tests are usually standardized. That means the test is given out to people in college taking stats equivalent to AP stats. So it means a lot of those people scored well on it.
I scored 26/40 on the 2012 mc. I want to shoot someone.
^ I believe that action would be frowned upon by most people.
How important is linearizing data sets for regression? (i.e power and exponential models) does it frequently come up on the AP exam?
Also, I know Barron’s tests are said to be particularly challenging. If I earn 28-32 on Barron’s multiple choice tests, could I earn a 35 or higher on the real AP exam?
@sched234
There are usually one or two on the mc about that.
You could take the mc for 2002, 2007, and 2012, and compare.
Hey will someone pleaaaase DM me 2007 and 2012 MC questions? I couldn’t find them on the internet!
Any help appreciated! Good luck guys
Hi, sorry this is late. Paired t-test is also for change over time: same sample, but different moments of measuring. EX: data before brushing teeth, data after brushing teeth.
@APmaster007
Dude thank you so much!! Ur the life savor
Can someone please explain to me #13, and #29.

For #29, my calculator get the same t value. But my p is .08.
